I just messaged Wind about this and got a pretty quick reply. Here is the very last work in progress version:

I have uploaded our latest update to the mod on 4shared. It simply included the mirror feature so Nvidia players can play the mod, and also some few tiny fixes. I also included Solidus' sprites. He was the character we were about to make before we halted the project. Maybe someone will continue our project?
