sure its possible - looking at how he moves afterwards i assume he used the heavy weapon frames (thats just like my julio)
hence those characters wouldn be able to properly pick up stones/crates
easy to do thing - and im thinking about doing so for killer lf2 if i add some heavy/more weapons so i dont have the hassle with my normal gun system (sleeker imo - but way more difficult to create more than one weapon with it)
edit: much more interesting to me are the spread projectiles - Ljokp:Quote:the effect of random bulletsanother edit: http://lf2.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6231&start=0
more evidence that its just like julio - the swat can be hit without effect (until the weapon breaks)
also the sword goes between legs and weapon
vgkittenaeris Wrote:Well, I can't say it's unimpressive, whoever did this (Didn't Felix create the SWAT?) has a good degree of sprite and data control.
However this is completely out of my style. I was never into the whole "shooting soldiers" thing. Got any monsters around there?
akatsuki Wrote:I have to say thats pretty cool, what makes me doubt there pickup weapons thought is for the last weapon, crate labeled S, (I think its a shotgun), the guy reloads each round. I think those weapons are limited to that one character for now.
[edit]i noticed there is a special animation for each one...

but i can promise you that these are heavy weapons :p - having different shooting animations/reloadings doesnt make it impossible - each weapon just has to force the character into a different shooting sequence on heavy throw - or the heavy throwing itself is long enough to contain either a chain of shots or a single one with reloading
tho according to the speed of each weapon i assume they are all using the same set of frames
akatsuki Wrote:Ah i see what u mean, but but I also just notice the flash on the body, the more I look at it the more it looks like a transformation. Oh well I guess we will have to wait for the actual mod or character to come out.
yinyin Wrote:notice the green sword going between weapon and body of the swat as he swings it forward - only possible with a pickup for the control he has

notice the flash on the armor at the end of the second movie - and some fireball sprites going between armor and body
akatsuki Wrote:I see, that makes a little more sense, Im not really that good with DCing.
