1) The attack is a ball. If a character were directly hitting someone with fire (eg: punch with itr effect 2), then this wouldn't work at all.
2) Achieving a fire absorbing effect; like the character is able to absorb Firen's DvJ flame as opposed to letting it continue to fly through harmlessly.
3) You don't mind if you absorb both enemies' and teammate's fireballs.
