Actually, going through Laneesh is a terrible idea.

Master Jaden runs Laneesh and our party left on very bad terms; we freed Drahcir from slavery(Jaden doesn't agree to free him) & killed his guards. You might say we could find this Jasper who apparently lives in the slums of Laneesh and retrieve Jaden's family heirloom(golden statue of a Platiniac Knight) in exchange for information on Marcus Hawk and possibly be pardoned. However, given his authority over Laneesh, I find it suspicious given that Jaden knows exactly who and where to find the heirloom, yet he won't send his own guards or go by himself.

In any case, Jaden would likely be on the lookout for us AND would double-cross us.

Since there are no roads other than the one leading to Laneesh, I instead suggest we go through the greenery, straight to the village just southeast of the Cold Caverns.
