3 people died, but one will die today again, leaving only 7 players, the knight included. Since he can't protect himself, there are only 6 options to go with.

DuhYour analogy isn't only terrible to me, but against you also. Werewolves are only concerned with people other than themselves dying, whether it was them who kill or anyone else. It would matter to a thief if they rob the drawer and not someone else.
