what i said, is that the overall need to be improved, but at least i have to say that i'm glad that you're not C&P.

Like everything needs more shading, and about his stance did you tried drawning it over another char? Will be easier.
And in the forum it has 2 or 3 tutorials, in the Sprites>Tutorials section, about shading.
