I had that problem a couple of times....
Create an attack, that'll loop itself for a certain TU-value. Then, in the hit_d, note a frame that'll lead to another loop. From there, after the timer runs out, link it to the first loop again. The timer has already run out the first time, so it'll jump back and forth every TU.
The method to solve that: press F7, it'll renew the timer. Or just opoint a new object.
btw, dunno who it was who already figured out how to use the object's hp.........
