Was thinking about that it's not a bad idea however it's useless if they don't have matching names and at the moment it's difficult to determine where lf2 may be running from as people can have mods in different folders (and I don't think lf2 loads the controls.txt again after starting a Network game) so I wouldn't be able to change it then hopefully I can just edit in memory but we'll see how it goes
as for the bug I can't afford to spend any more time trying to track it I want to move on with my updates however I'll be retuning and optimizing the server and client as I go along which should help in fixing the data issue sorry for the inconvenience
