Well, as he's some kind of tank you have to hop around, i would give him an explosion( not as strong and big as Julian's col though) a hard knock-down punch, a ball( chase?) and... a catching move? I don't know why he should have a catching move but somehow it feels right for me.
To have something a little more unique you maybe could use the hit_back: method YinYin just posted. Like he is standing there until you release the button and then he smashes the enemy high into the air. I'm not sure how AI would use it, though.
