If you plan on keeping his lenght like this, you should at least make his legs longer, too. Have you ever met anyone with his upper body being almost twice as long as his legs? Because I haven't .gif ";)")
For the animation, there is a piece of his coat at his leg in one frame. And his left arm moves up while his hand does not. It moves up too much as well.
