sorry i answer late, but you can´t use ´´shading´´ tool, or any prof. tools in Gimp if your pic is already in bmp mode that lf2 uses.You must copy the pic straight to Gimp from paint, like i say in tut, or you must have any .png file, put your pic over that pic and then put in to Gimp, and when you are ready just save it in bmp file.
