I still want to have that big ball used somewhere.. it is a move that can clear hordes of enemies and that's what this character needs imo.

Either ways whatever was needed to be done is already done I'm waiting for moar spritez XD

Haha, good. Yea, there wasn't much that had to be done at this point :p

2. yea, big ball out, but we can still use it for another character. He needs a move that can clear hordes of enemies, but like Woody, he's a melee type fighter, thus he'll need a move similar to Woody's D>J in terms of effect. His dash attack and run attack are pretty good for sweeping multiple oppenents also by the way :) I think that if we have a D>J, he shouldn't also have the big ball in his moveset as it will become too much probably.

edit: oh, yea... fall: 60 is dance of pain, bdefend: 64 causes the opponent to stumble backward


PS deciding on the D>J has proven to be an issue, so I suggest that the final decicion will be made by Arcane and Rhino Freak and its probably best if we don't interfere with making this decision too much.

So yesterday Memento proposes a really good idea for D>A balls of Nino.
It is going to be 2 projectile balls thrown successively having low upwards speed and higher forward speed.. when it touches the ground, it will cause explosions.
This kind of attack would really suit him and also help clear hordes because of explosions >:D

Anyone wants to add something to this? Spriters, whenever you're ready! :D

+ It is an original type of D>A attack
+ The type of move really fits Nino. Why? When the balls hit the ground and the ball explodes, enemies hit by the explosion fly up, allowing for more combos
+ Make D>A possible from air (with more downward movement), and you'll be able to do original and fancy combos using his D^A (flip kick) and D>A after the D^A, having the opponent land on the explosion and having him fly up again. When landing, you could eventually do a dash attack to finish the combo (D^A+D>A+dash attack)
+ Using D>A from air could be a good surprise attack

+- We can use the same throwing sprites as before, with a minor edit perhaps
+- It might be a little bit harder to hit the opponent, but we can add a little chase effect to make the ball hit more precicely

- The attack can attack hit enemies that are very close and enemies that are further away (similar to Deep's D>A range or a little bit further), but enemies between that range can't be hit as the balls will be thrown over them. It can hit jumping/dashing characters though.

hmm well I don't know :/
I want to learn effects spriting one day but right now I suck a lot XD maybe post them doodles and I can tell what's missing or stuff.

Will be ready to code this move as soon as it's done :D
