btw, I like the blurred version more, the sharpened version just doesn't fit for flamish bodies

I wonder if you gonna do some "real" highlights, atm it's just.... all sorts of red. You might want to include some yellow-orangish tones, too

In this case it is cause it looks like fire, you don't want the fire to be too detailed...

I think I'll go with the blurred one since that's my original plan and since the poll got a tie as of this moment.

And also, I wanted to give him only red flames although more highlights, orange, yellowish tones is not really a bad idea.

It looks like he is in a disco

His tail and head move too much. The flames are good, though :P
Try making the head moving together with the body instead of going back and forth. The tail can rise a bit less.
