[solved] question about temp. transform

If you put hit_d in the standing frame, it'll no longer go to the defense frame.

If you use hit_d: xy and mp: -zv and your MP bar is empty, it will jump to the xy frame. At least it will do in normal frames.

But standing frames (due to the special state) were always a bit messy, so i'm not sure whether it will work 100% here, too...

But like no one correctly said, using the hit_d: for the retransformation frame will disable defending AND ALL SPECIAL MOVES (cuz they all begin with DEFEND button)

Well... Correct and incorrect.
All special moves begin with the defend button, but not with the defend frame.
You can still perform special moves if you add a hit_d: tag to the standing frames.

so... there's no way to do any special move with this method?
i mean... if i put hit d tags on standing frame to retrans. then i can't activate any move... cus all moves must start from d button.

EDIT: is this just my computer or its the truth that mp tags won't work on running, walking, etc. frames? the mp tags work on standing, and then i tried to put mp: 100 to defending frame but its not working...

Hmmm, you are wrong there, i think... Maybe it doesn't make sense, but if the Defend Move of a char gets "interrupted" (for example if it costs mp, but you dont have some) it cancels the key combinations, which results in not being able to do special moves...
That's the reason, why my Etox char cannot transform back if he has 0 mp...

I'm not sure, what's the exact cause for this "bug", but it's there, so deleting the defend frames could cause problems..

Yeah, that's one of the buggy parts of that method: Some states (like running) cancel all tags like next, mp etc...

You can't do moves if you don't meet the requirements. Can you attack if you have 0 HP? Jossua is right.

I meant moves without mp costs *faceclaw* Retransformation of Etox doesn't take any mp (of course, duh).
