Well I can assure you that I didn't copy anything from D.R .LF2.
But I will check it out and change the effects if they are too similar.

Don't worry about that. The defense char doesn't have any long range attacks, but his defensive attacks can repel most ranged attacks, so the opponent has to come closer.

Yay ^^ otherwise i would have used my Amaya against the DefChar just for the lulz, since he is able to hit everything on the field with some of his moves :D

Btw, Speed-Moves aren't that much difficult:
-One kind of Burn-Run (of course much faster)
-A move where he begins to run, teleports to enemy and graps him (though i have this move already in my char Sharn XD)
-Something like kicking the enemy in the air and then going to invisible-fast-speed and kicking him around (vive la Ura Renge!)
-May he could just run in circles and create Tornado :D

Speed moves? As Alblaka said - kicking around moves. Like say the character teleports repeatedly around the person kicking and punching from different angles. He could also do the Julian style thing, and just create copies of himself as he moves. You could always have him somewhat dance aswell, just combine some various kicks on the ground - one going towards the head, then the middle, then the leg, then head, leg, middle and a flip kick at the end.

But nice work anyway now
One day, I shall become, TUTORIAL-MAN: Superhero of writing overly long, overly annoying tutorials which most people probably won't read, but will give it a stab at the first 5 lines!

Impressive characters. Sprites are now currently recolor, ripping and resizing but it look very good. I think only the attacks' one are good enough, you can make it like CE LF2: original chars with wicked skill.

The DCing part is as good as the sprite. Dave's DJA is very interesting. Which method did you use? Transformation or weapon holding (itr/kind: 8 )? And there's that automatic defend. I can see two shadow under your char, is that another ball that make you go to defend frame if it get hit? or you're just using the load-dll EXE? Also, if you're walking, can the automatic defend react to the attacks?

As for the "reflect-balls thing", what if after you stop all the ball and you have to disengage it? will the ball just simple slam at you (I have that darn problem once)?

As for something more conclusive, this will be a great mod when it's finish.

DJA(Powerup) uses the similar tech as the Stay Shield, so its a type 3 object with ik/8 interacting with the char and moving with him. When the char uses a basic move, there is another ik/8 in its first frame that interacts with the T3, so the char gets redirected to a stronger move.
No, auto-defend doesn't work while walking. Just to prevent being too OP.
In the reflect-balls thing, you go into a stance where you are just stopping balls. If you press A during it, all of the balls get refelcted back.

Sorry if I get it wrong but you can make itr/kind: 8 interact with type: 3's bdys?

Someone (I think it was 1477) made some different itr kinds that react on other types aswell (T3, Weapon types). It's all in the latest update of DLL Framework :D

and then silva made a mp hitting itr kind (takes a way mp instead of mp)
silva fixed my buggy mp recovery state
so you have something to stop beer opointing for charging (if oyu want to use)
and smething for mp drain
