The Little Fighter Wiki
#11
Wow, I haven't seen these things before. Surely, they contain detailed tips just like what I wanted :P .

And I'm happy to see a few edits done by an unregistered user (or maybe, by unregistered users). I realized now how many mistakes I have made xD , and how I could write it in better sentences. Actually I could not find anything to describe what is now written as "the chasing blast will switch teams". OMG, that simple!
I would really recommend you to register to Wikia though, so that people can see who edited the page (I really want to know who edited the page!). Besides, you can track your own contributions ^^ and get some other advantages from Wikia. You need only to fill a short form and verify your email.

That grammar edit was me. At first I didn't bother registering because "zort", "zort-", and "zort`" are taken, but now I'm ZortLF2.

I think we should include an animated GIF demonstrating each sufficiently complex combo, and all the .dat files (decrypted, of course).

Zort is the only person that has created an article from blank ^^ aside from me.
Don't hesitate to start a new page :P . Other wikia members can improve it later, just make sure it does not contain false information. Being incomplete is no problem, just put a description in the end: 'This is a stub page. You can help by expanding it'.

4 completed pages (may still need some improvements) and 1 unfinished page so far.

There are a few uses of terms we have to discuss :P
My page was originally using the term 'DoP'
Later it was edited into 'the dance of pain'
Now it is edited back to 'DoP'
We have to discuss which is better. For me, I think DoP is better to keep it short.

Which should be used for Dennis' DvA? Strafe kick or Shrafe?
I cannot find Shrafe in my dictionary, so I used strafe kick instead (where strafe means attacking many times very quickly)
As it is originally named Shrafe (I believe we can find it is the readme file), it can be controversial too to change it to Strafe Kick.
Strafe is, however, used in Davis' DvA (Strafe Punch).

Projectiles switching teams.
In the Heavy Objects page, the term 'Deflection' was originally used. However, 'Conversion' is used in the current edited version. Where as rebound should clearly be used when you hit a projectile and causes it to reverse in both direction and teams, we may (or may not) need to use another term for heavy objects only being switched teams, but does not change in direction. In my own opinion, rebound is still appropriate here, or we can use the term 'conversion' if the direction does not change.

AOE attacks.
We clearly need a term for AOE attacks! But, I don't think AOE is a good term because it stands for Area of Effect, so.... 'Area of Effect attacks'?
Well, it's difficult for me to find any other term either though. If you have a better idea than AoE please let us know so we can discuss it :D .
*As well as non-AoE attacks, we also need a term for this.

I say this thing almost a year ago. But I was too badly lazy to do anything at that time.

~I can contribute now.

I have just made the home page a little neater with some tables. Blue links means the page exists (although it may still be a stub page). Red links means the page does not exist and clicking on them will immediately lets you create a new page of it. I hope this makes it more convenient to write new pages ^^ .

I changed it to Shrafe because that's in the readme, but you're right, that's probably another of Marti and Starski's oddly endearing English mistakes. Strafe it is.

I've been saying (to myself) "multi-hit" and "single-hit". "AOE attack" isn't perfect because it implies that the attack actually has a substantial AOE, which most things in LF2 do not.

I don't know the term for an attack which can hit a person who is falling. For example, a fireball can do that, but an iceball cannot. I've been saying (mostly to myself) "catch", but "catch" is sometimes used interchangeably with "grab".

I'm already happy to see 15 people voted on the first option :D . Start doing your first edit so I can see you :) . Go to the main page to see a list of pages that need to be created (marked with red links). You can also improve existing pages if needed.

If you have any questions, kick me a PM

EDIT:
oO thanks for anyone who revised Deep's energy blast damage. It was me who wrote 50..
