Nice one. A bit more contrast on the hood would be good, though.
The stuff on the cape, however, seems a bit random. Additionally, it shouldn't go below the character's feet. Check Firzen for reference and search for a frame where his cape looks the way you imagine it to look on your char. Remake actually doesn't look too bad, but hair needs a bit of work and I just don't like the colours. Contrast is a bit low and on the legs there isn't too much shading. But you're right, it's possibly due to the former sprite. The new original sprites are much better. Thanks given by: chase123
Most of the time i would avoid spriting anything bellow the legs, as i see it as a limit...
abs look pretty good but a lil far apart, like 3-4 pixels WIDE! get in the habit of making them around .5-2 pixel when i mean .5, it's just silly way of slightly covering over it (with the opacity) also refer back to google images or Julian's/Justin's toes, cuz the feet are like blocks (shoes) As Reaper already mentioned... the positive thing i see is that u distinctively separated the two shades of skin colors (it's important to have contrast) sadly i don't see it in the rest of sprite, such as the cape, clothes, and cuffs... i like the idea u were going for, similar to apoc but no ice yet... :P Damn you Reaper for ninja'ing me...i should have woken up earlier

I like this sprite, although the eyes need some work:
Also with a sword and changed pose:

That pose seems too unrealistic. Please fix it... for the newbies man...
