I'll be fine with the cheap leather boots. I'm not really skilled on defense and its mainly to prevent me from stepping into things (and loosing hp in the process).

Bamboori: I'm ok with the leather boots, really, I just need some footwear, that's all...

Blue Phoenix pays up 20 gold coins and finally, Bamboori has nothing to fear any more. At least regarding perilous grounds.
Immediately thereafter, the group heads to the Y-intersection and sets off into the eastern direction, following the rural path and leaving the village behind.

Ian: I really hope doing this is going to be worth it. In my humble opinion, this is a petty waste of time.

After a little while of pure road following on monotone grasslands, they finally reach a more interesting environment. Variations in elevation and patches of trees decorate these fields, truly a remarkable scenery with that juicy fresh green that prompts one to want to just bite into the leafage and suck them dry.

Drahcir: Alright, we've headed into the highlands, the question is, where is that farmer that Eleana used to go to?
Nave: We could probably ask around, there shouldn't be so many farmers around.
Simon: Ask around who, dimwit? There's nobody here.
Blue Phoenix: Or we're just going to do it oldschool and explore the area by ourselves.

A rather large sign next to the road reads:

"You are now entering Rinstar Highlands. Beware of bandits! BUY OUR APLS! CHEAP APLS! FIFE SILFER COINS A PEES! JUS GO STREIT"

SirFrog: Besides the spelling being hilarious, I guess we should indeed watch out a little and not trust everybody we are going to meet.
Drahcir: I'm really wondering what caused so many groups of bandits to emerge...
Ian: Well, those Platiniac Army raids I suppose. Many people lost everything that was dear to them and they didn't have any other choice. Not like King Razen is doing much to prevent poverty...

Straight is obviously a trap.

I don't mind going there if we think we can beat the bandits, but then again, maybe beating some bandits will give some good cred.

Bamboori: I'm not sure, I'd rather avoid them...
Simon: My katana is longing to kick some arse.
SirFrog: I'm fine with either, we could use some loot.

Dismissing the strange scribbling on the sign, the group heads on straight until the path forms an intersection.
