If the basic punches are slow, it's not a problem that they contain more power.
I'd say, if you want to make combos, go for it

They will be kinda slow and they will make the enemy go to injured frames with two punches (like Deep and Dennis do). After that there is two possibilities of super_punches, other one takes mana and needs +A/DvA input and other one is strong two hands punch that doesn't need mana.

Well, you say he'll be using power of sand, what about a power of earth? I already see simple combo:
Punch+Punch+Punch+Superpunch (x2 punches)+ powerfull stomp(and rocky column goes out from ground to smash enemy)

Already made D: Rocky and Earth? Well Earth isn't released but still.
We'll go with sand.
And if there's need for stmhing like rocks, sand can be hard too :o

Well i think only similar thing will be the power to control sand, there won't be anything like ''desert coffin'' or ''sand armor''.

-Made some sand effect bases (no shading) (Whaat)
-Base for new attack (Whaat)
-Made running (DH)
-Made heavy walking (DH)
-Fixed punching (DH)
-Made heavy_weapon throw (DH)
We will probably post some gifs when we have smthing like super_punch or new attacks.

:3 well he's kinda frozen atm, and i don't know if he's frozen forever.
We got only about 20 basic sprites and bases for some attacks and nothing else, and neither one of us have been working on him. Also we both have our own projects atm. I have my secret char project that will be posted at LFE after i have made some more progress and DH has his own idea for new mod so...

I guess, you don't want to give it to me all of sudden, since it's not my 'destiny' to work with it, but I actually can do it.

i dont think its good idea,cuz is dh and whaat char,it maybe be strange to look at sprites cuz your style is bit different from dh or whaat,not always everything must be done in one or two days
