Actually just read about it.
@Blue Phoenix:
Just have to ask, was the LFE shutdown made because of this thread or was it already planned?
Age ratings for movies and games (and similar) have never been a good idea.

it is related there was an article about that SOPA/PIPA shuted down megaupload
and alot of hackers are trying to shut down SOPA/PIPA related sites for pay back,
it also says that the amount of hackers that joined rised in about 24% above average

Oh, I actually did. Don't know why nobody really expected something like this to happen. Let's see how far they'll go in case one of these bills get ratified.

A bit of both. At first, I was 50/50 about it but this thread gave the 1%
Also, regarding megaupload etc, there has actually been some rumor going on about the site getting shut down for quite a while. The only ironic part of it is that it happens now. Looking at what the site-owners are accused, it just shows that people always find a reason to drag others in front of court. Copyright infringement and money laundering are the most noticeable. But, what I personally find interesting, Megaupload had the infamous "we're not liable for the content our users upload"-statement in their TOS; and they even had the form so that people could inform about such copyright-infringements and those files got taken down. That a site tries to make profit is clear; heck, it's a company. That's what companies do.
It's as if you send some illegal stuff via (physical) mail. Is the FBI going to arrest the mailman?
I wonder how long the other upload-platforms will last. Because, let's face it, you can always find some illegal files on any filehost.

Except here. :P
BTW, what is this "the attack of blablabla"? Anyone can give a link?
vThanks, DC-Dragon.
This place motivates me to become an artist, this place motivates me to learn coding, this place made me grow up, showed me the ways to interact with people. Unlike the old childish of me myself, I've learned a lot and gotten some experiences. For me, it's not just a fan forum, it's a helpful community. From a noob to someone who would think before he speaks, looking back at my old post made me laugh hard, I'm grateful of the differences between these 2 years.

Can't tell how reliable the source is. But if they plan something like that and Sony doesnt do an instant u-turn, it WILL happen.
Seriously, no system is even close to being safe if a group of intelligent people doesnt want it too.

There is quite some doubt on how good anonymous really are, AND there is absolutely no proof that the video is actually made by anonymous.
I could say that I am actually Tiger Woods, and that all my profile info was fake so people wouldn't figure out I was him, but I doubt very few people would believe me, if I did so.
And as far as I can tell, SOPA didn't pass. It is gone, dead and will not make it into law.
