Apoc's Sprites
Siegvar has good eyes in his sockets and I agree with most things he says. Especially the part on your sprites shrinking. It’s not a style, they are just a couple pixels too low in size compared to original LF2 sprites. My suggestion, which I really hope you’ll take note of, is posting the original size of the image you sprite and the small LF2-sized one. I know all too well, that you propagate the opinion of LF2-sized sprite, but you’re just shrinking too much, and I, as a viewer and appreciator of your talent, would like to see all the details, which are very natural to me, compared with, let’s say PF’s HF styled and sized sprites, which are, in their own right, great, but look kind of plastic and kind of like dolls. There is too much life for you to condense to such a low size, because I think you’re out-growing the limits, even if you say, that you’re rusty. Of course, even if I’d like to see you doing full-blown artwork of your characters, doesn’t mean you have to, because it’d be full-blow to the whole community, so I’m just asking the original sized sprite as an addition to the final product. Food for thought.
Brother and sister. They use thunder powers...

I'm into the whole underwear power thing, especially when it's incest, you know why. Serious face.
Criticism: The bro: The raven hair and black pants combo makes the character look bland, but the jacket truly saves the day by creating a manly shape to the whole sprite. Dem shoulder pads! Very steam-punk, even if you tried a historical look. The sis: At first glance, it looks repulsive to me, on second, it looks brilliant, and I don’t understand the first impression. I love mandarin oranges, know a girl who looks kind of like that. The shape of the body is very tomboyish, even androgynous, which makes me question your sexual preferences, but you’re no betit, that’s for sure. The unity of the sprite is mind-blowing. Love the belly.

Criticism: Ah. the blue azurite mermaid godess! First impression, again, is dislike, but, in this case, it stays the same. The body is damn erotic and athletic, the eyes maliciously delicious, but the whole shape is just too solid, too static, too… phantasmagorical. You really challenged yourself to make something from one color, I bet, and you succeeded to some extent (especially, the emotion part – the seductive evil, if I may), but it would really look better in colors, poison ivy like maybe?
Street Fighter IV: Ken

Criticism: The rule, that the first one splash is always the best, applies here. Criticism likes previous ones or even this is just a statement, which should be applied to future works, because edits to sprites as high level as yours is just conforming to majority. I’m not gonna poke at the hair, the muscles or the fingers. It’s your interpretation of the character (alternative art anyone?) and to me it looks totally wicked.
Street Fighter IV Ryu

Criticism: Finally, we have Ryu. In retrospective, maybe you were rusty. This one is a prime example of you getting back on track and producing something, which is very professional. The posture is very well drawn and characteristic, especially the arm muscles and hand fingers. The wind effect is something what I previously called naturalism in your sprites. The whole thing is a balance and emphasis on power, being ready to move, being in the rhythm. From first to last impression it makes me proud.
Next stop? Undead Prince Arthas from Warcraft III, please, with a cherry on top. I know you want it.

Yeah, I noticed that recently after going back to check those sprites. I think I need to start putting an original LF2 char at one side again to avoid messing up the size.
Actually... what you're seeing are the 'original' sprites, lol. I sprite at regular size, no resizing. 1px brush... or 1px brush 50% opacity for extremely small details.
Photoshop's resizing algoritms tend to mess up with the sharpness of my shapes :P

Will have those in mind for future fixes... like I said those were one of the first sprites I did after a long break, and it's kind of noticeable.

I agree on that. I don't like the idea of editing sprites after 'finishing'... it's just that sometimes after finishing a sprite I fail to see something that becomes obvious hours later. But I can't contain myself from posting as soon as possible xD

Really, it's weird, that there isn't a "decent", as you put it, full-body pic of Arthas, so here you go - the Lich King, the possessed Arthas, mate.

Hey is it really illidan?
I don't think it is the real one as the real one has a bandage on his eyes!
plus he uses the weapons in the pic I posted rather than swords...
