Agreed.

Also, us casters can still be of use even without weaponry. Besides, I think I'm just using a simple wooden staff.

Drahcir: I take it our weapons will be safe with you? Please ask the farmers then. We could also help protecting them if needed.

The mercenary turns around to one of the other farmers who still haven't left.

Mercenary 1: What do you say, Jack?
Jack: Fine by me, if you take full responsibility. I have a barn nearby where you can stay.
Mercenary 1: *turns to the group* Sounds fine? Then I must ask you to hand over all your weapons now. I'll store them safely in the main house's basement, and you can pick them up tomorrow.

It's midday. (6:19 PM)
The sunball is lowering towards the horizon, filling the autumnal scenery with an idyllic orange.

The group hands over their weaponry. (please state if you want to do something before doing that)
Bamboori: How well are your provisions? We could pay some gold if you can share some of your stored food with us.

No objections from me.

SirFrog: Sure, just checking, this a weapon to you? *motions to quarterstaff*

If yes, then I'll turn it in. I mean, it's literally just a wooden staff.

SirFrog: Sure, just checking, this a weapon to you? *motions to quarterstaff*

The mercenary briefly eyeballs the staff and then nods.

The group hands over their weaponry. A few of the mercenaries collect them and then disappear into the house.

Bamboori: How well are your provisions? We could pay some gold if you can share some of your stored food with us.
Jack: No problem, just join us at our meal in about an hour. I'll go tell the wife to add to the quantity.
Bamboori: Alright, thanks.

Jack looks over to another farmer and gives him a slight nod.

Farmer: Alright... if you'd follow me please, I'll show you to the barn where you'll spend the night.

Accompanied by two armed mercenaries, the farmer walks away, diagonally across the road into the direction of a building in the distance which is presumed to be said barn. The group slowly follows them through a grassy area with a batch of apple trees. By this time of autumn, most of the apples have ripened and as snorsorbet reaches out to pick one of the low hanging ones, Simon gives him a little push to remind him that they're guests and cannot simply help themselves to whatever they find. After almost reaching the barn, the farmer simply points at it, then leaves with the mercenaries without saying another word.

Drahcir: Strange fellas.

They enter the large, red-colored building and glance in surprise as they notice the whole interior was filled with hay. It is a rather large building, spanning around thirty foot in length and width alike. Heaps of hay lay around chaoticly among a large main heap in one corner of the barn.

Bamboori: Now this is a hay barn all right!
SirFrog: Soo... I suppose we were invited for dinner, then? Shall we head back or is there anything else we could do in the meantime?

Bamboori: We've got one hour right?
And with that he throws himself onto a heap of hay.
Bamboori: I'll take these shoes off for a bit. Walk barefoot for some time and boots will feel like a prison to your feet. Ahh, much better.

Drahcir: Well I suppose we could rest for a moment.
He sits down cross-legged.

Can't think of anything better to do. Just rest while waiting for dinner.
