Wow lots of different suggestions! We have
1) wake the bandits up and 'scare' them
2) return to the intersection and head east
3) pass by the bandits and keep heading north
What's it gonna be?

In order of descending preference:
#1 - return to the intersection and head east (most preferred)
#2 - pass by the bandits and keep heading north
#3 - wake the bandits up and 'scare' them (least preferred)

I'm for passing them and continuing a little further, I'd be okay with returning to the intersection tho

Since their money was rightfully reclaimed at an earlier day, they decide not to get involved into bandit affairs any more. However, the path ahead seems to lead out of the Rinstar Highlands. In order to avoid venturing out too far, the group decides to return and search for the farm deeper within the highlands.
Returning to the previous intersection, they head eastwards now and follow the path. At this time, the sunball is hovering directly above the horizon, making it hard to see far ahead. After some time though, much to Ian's liking, the path makes a right turn.
Ian: Ugh. Sunburns in my eyes.
Drahcir: What's the matter, dark boy? Light got your eye?
Ian returns a smirk. In contrast to Nave he actually seems to display a sense of humor toward his spiritual nemesis.
Not much later another intersection is reached. This time however, they notice a group of four people next to the intersection looking around in a confused fashion, seemingly trying to figure out which way to go. After they realize that company is closing in, their attention shifts and tension arises amongst them.

Greet them with an "Ahoy, fellow travellers!" to ease the tension a bit.
Maybe ask where they're headed.

Simon (to SirFrog): Don't forget we are kind of lost as well, gooseface.

Bamboori takes a closer look at the four people, with a friendly face though that means no harm but rather shows interest.
