Uhhhh, I know it's bad of me, but I do not really follow what's happening in the world right now. I don't know how to explain it, surely I have time for that, but something inside me just wants to ignore everything the media brings. Sure, if the opportunity stroke I would be glad to help the refugees as much as I can. What about you, my fellow american?

What about you?

The fact that I'm living in a world that has no actual physical existence vexes me beyond belief. Red pill, most definitely.

Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things?

How is it possible to decide, without doubt and any personal bias, what is good and what is, for the lack of a better word, evil?

sadbhav, you f***ing oldie, I really missed your presence here and now you just come here and ask me complicated questions, come on :D there is a nicer way to come back from the dead!

It really depends on the situation. And I don't know why you want me to pick one side as they don't really compare. Yeah, the word play sounds nice, but you can do the right things right, if you know what I mean.

The way I see it, the most appropriate way to think of it, even though it includes personal bias, is treat others like you want to be treated yourself. If we go to extremes on this topic, yes, if you want to kill, you have to be killed, etc.

Bash scripting, obviously, because it sounds more badass. And you want to be a badass if you go into programming, am I right?

Math books, definitely. My brains are not set for learning history, sadly.

From what I take away from the refugee crisis is not black and white but its not really complicated either. I genuinely believe there are those who want to escape the terrible things that are going on in the middle east but then you also have the barbaric people who want to spread their hatred and violence toward infidels and make their ideology rule the world. We don't know who's coming from the middle east to harm others but that doesn't mean we simply ignore the ones that are in need of help. I'm not too concerned if we as a country in the US shut down and close off immigration for the sake of our safety.. im sure other countries would be open to housing the refugee's. My beef with the entire thing is the ideology. If they don't take it seriously and don't harm others then im fine with them coming over. But the fact that you can still have normal people come into or be born in the country and develop radical views/interpretations based on this ideology is what i think is causing terrorism to continue. Most people (I would think) are moderates but religion is what makes reasonable people do terrible things and its especially easy to do so when they don't have proper 21st century education. But even with 21st century education people don't want to have discussions about it and if people aren't willing to have a dialogue about uncomfortable subjects then ignoring the real problem will only allow more and more of this stuff to ensue. If it was reformed and not taken seriously like all the other religions today I wouldn't have a problem. But the fact that i see a bunch of reports involving the refugees and a spike of increased crimes in areas where they outlaw guns only makes me think otherwise.

What are your thoughts about what i've said so far?
A sequence of variables thatre engraved since the beginning of the cosmos is responsible for animating things in reality

I obviously agree with your thoughts. However from what I know (but I haven't really studied it in depth) there is nothing in the actual Islam that provokes wars or terrorism. Same as Catholicism. The problem comes when these religions are treated as a weapon for governments and then they mix the faith of the religion and the people that are blindly religious with the needs of authorities. It's somewhat hard to explain, but hopefully you get what I mean.
Also I don't really get why western countries want to battle bombing by bombing themselves. It just causes more hate and risk... And yeah, I'm talking about the recent UK decision to participate in this blood bath.
