* A tip, try choosing an existing char's facepic (pick Davis if you want it easy) and draw over it
* His head is too small compared to other existing facepics
* Missing a black outline D:
* The hair needs to be bigger and a darker shading
* You didn't shade the scarf-thing, and probably there's too much folds there (?)

Short and sweet : Need to improve face proportions to lf2 chars. And, make it more lf2 ish by drawing black outlines. I hope u reach better heights. And, u did those with mouse or tablet ?

His pupils are not the same in both the eyes. use a big pixel brush. Hit it once in a eye. Dont change the size and do the same with the other eye.And the add shadings. He has weird muscles ( same as others ) . Shoes needa be flat at bottom. Seems he his slouching (or whateves) to HIS right side. This can be fixed by correcting HIS right arms. Dont use dodge or burn tool for shading hair or other parts. Use those only for touch ups. Way to go.

Edit: His hair is not the same in his face pic compared to the sprite.

I find the colors to be too bright. the saturation is too high on the hair. Look at the original character's hair, none of then are really bright like that and honestly only a few have none traditional colors for hair

I think that is not necessary to be traditional.
I tkink that is more interesting to see something different.[/size]

Hair still sucks, outlining is too visible.

But it's better overall.

Size is much better now. You might want to use more subtle lines and detail the hair a little more. There are quite a few face-tutorials in the >Tutorials Forum< so you might want to check that one out ;)

Other than that, I'll have to repeat what Marshall said; your skill-level is rising at an abnormal pace :p
