I like the new one a lot,you could give the arms more definition, because I can't see them clearly now.

If you're using a tablet now, you should be able to reproduce that result without using the magnified400% method if you get used to using fine brushes(1px etc), or using the pressure sensitive input to control your brush size, or better yet, both to get some sub-pixel control.
Better yet, you won't have to guess how it'll look like after downsizing, since you'll already be working at the right size. In fact, because of that, you should be able to produce an even better sprite.

btw, I really like the new face and hair.

I agree with Siegvar about the face and the hair.
I think the sweater could have been improved or at least been a bit lighter.
The pants look fine but for some odd reason he has a girl pose with the legs kinda crossing legs.
I am back, not really.

@Elias
I disagree about the legs...they aren't crossed they are just compressed together, I don't find it very feminine however, I think you were hinting @ a new pose...this I agree on (should have done that)

I'm kinda surprised that u guys lilke the hair, as u mentioned siegvar I shouldn't have used a small pixel brush for that however I want to work bigger, and not get into the habit of drawing that narrow and condensed, I'll need to expand my brush size consistently.
I don't think I will be able to participate or post in any sprite contest/thread due to my lack of behaving, failing on improving my grades and being such a lazy bastard. Please forgive me. I might be away this whole quarter depending on how my school grades go...
As far as I'm concerned, I'm very disappointed I won't be able to join in this weeks sprite contest...sorry alectric i was rly looking forward to it...
However, I have been holding onto a sprite I was going to submit for the upcoming contest (revamped)
Yeah I know I'm such a cheater :p
But I figured something like this would happen...
In fact I was goi- ah nvr mind I might not be able to finnish it like all my other previous work...
I rly need to take control of my life and stop being such a loser
Thank you guys for your comments and consideration, I rly appreciate all of them.

Dunno, but the head should be a bit more rounded (it's shaped like a 'D' atm) or is it just me who feels disturbed?
Shading looks pretty good though.

i finally got my computer back!
so i finally got to upload these semi-old sprites the day before my computer was cut off...testing Sid
not sure if i can make Sid into a char since the sprite i worked off of was not LF-sized so these ones have been shrunk
i see it as a potential char however it rly depends if i am willing to continue...
[Image: jEmex.gif] ok'ish
[Image: D1Doo.gif] idk...i definitely know i messed up some where on the animation
maybe the middle one where i messed up on legs and even the chest i think...c&c are allways welcomed

I think the problem with the running is there are only 3 frames. You forgot to use the middle frame twice. Sprites look good though!
