I'm warming up my spriting. Want to do something good for the Collaboration contest now that I'm back after a long hiatus.

Meh, it´s maybe too detailed? Even when it´s boss and all, it still wouldn´t look good in LF2. But other than that, it´s good. Maybe the heads shouldn´t go across cuz it makes it :S (can´t explain with words xp ). And maybe black for legs isn´t very good choice, i don´t know what would be better, maybe purple cuz that´s the mix of red and blue. And it´s dragon, maybe it shouldn´t even have legs? Try smthing like this :o

Actually this reminds of dragon tales :P . But , mmm If u dont want the two dragons' heads be at same height , the drawing is ok. But However , the red has long neck than blue. The wings are translucent? (Good idea ) Other than that, its a lovely artwork. If u want to fit it to LF2, then reduce the details (same as whaat) .

Be careful with the values. The contrast among the different body-parts is fairly low. You can see it best when converting the image to grayscale:

What I'm trying to say is this: the crossing of the heads is confusing and, since the values are fairly equal in those areas, making it hard to identify the "structure" at first glance. Might also help to add some "global details" (for the lack of a better word) where you just roughly outlay the shadow/highlight-parts. This way, the sprite should really pop.

Honestly I just wanted to sprite something big and did the fire dragon head. Then I started smashing details in it furiously and after it was done I decided to add a ice one. That should explain why the necks are not equally long and the akward position. I didn't care that much for that. Usually when I do this kind of sprites I sketch a quick template to evade this flaws, but at this time I was just adding body parts one after the next one.

Everything should have the same value, but I edited the body value manually to make it darker (it was kinda white before).

To my defense, it's quite time consuming to do something this detailed and big and keep everything in order at the same time.. but I'll be careful to don't keep doing the same flaws again with the next sprite :p
