Sorry guys for making u all wait so long... I made this yesterday and i make one everyday too.

Angel and Demon. I tried to clean it with filters. But it was a headache.

i want to know what settings people use to scan.

Dpi(dots per inch) :
Type of scanning : Gray scale/256 colors/True color/Black and white
Strategy used for cleaning scanned image: Wut?

Dpi: for greyscale, make it either 200 to 300 dpi, and thats the same for colour. (pencil sketches)
Only use black and white when you have clean crisp black lines.
Try take auto sharpness off (if there is an option)

Dont resize too much, only crop.

@^: Epic opinions are always epic. Now everyone can judge my drawing clearly :P . I actually used 75 dpi and 100 dpi b4. It didn't produce that much clarity. It was for u know, spriting. Thanks alec. It helped me to come to a conclusion ^^. I actually thought my scanner as a waste.

i hope you don't want to digitaly color it, otherwise you gotta rescan.
your problem in this particular one is, that your lines are too "bright", you have to put more pressure on it while drawing. otherwise if you don't want to redraw it on computer with the mouse again (what's the point of drawing on paper then?) it will look like this with my "common" methods:

Now i made a new art. I think it resembles Mark somehow . Actually I never did somethin detailed like this. Also, i did it in grayscale first and then colored it. The coloring pretty much sucks.

okay. His face looks kinda long, maybe its because of the big sunglasses or the really fat nose.
also I wonder from where your light source comes? from the right "down" corner?
if so, aren't the sunglasses kinda hiding the ear? which would mean that there is no highlight at it.
Compare the angel of the other highlights and you will see that with this angel, the light can't reach his ear.
About that outline. Maybe if you add a black thin outline it would look better, now it looks kinda cut off.
The hair shading is also kinda messy, it looks more like a rock shaded.

The design of the "no mercy" guy surely looks awesome. Sort of like a mummy-ninja-reaper-magican guy. Details and everything else is very good as well. I'm calling someone to colour it.
Rest looks fine as well, though not as . Secondlast one is pretty hunched and kudo's head loooks weird (eyes+nose?), but other than that...
First one would make an interesting sprite, maybe with a few details less.
