Image limit prob. in sig

Hey guys

I recently got a problem in my signature. Whenever I want to use more than 1 image in my signature, a problem appears that i cannot use pics. It is noted that the maximum no. is 4 but I have used only 2?? Is it that the admins have shortened it without notice?

apparently smilies count as images. that MIGHT be a bug ;D

Dam, I found it out. Smilies ARE counted as images which are already three LOL. i.e +1=4. Damn, gotta change the title (maybe) Oh, and Somebody please fix this wrong categorized problem which include smilies in images.

Smileys are counted as images. And, considering that I (and I assume that others do as well) hate seeing more than 5 billion smileys in one single post, this will not change.

OOPS Sorry my Caps Lock went broken and My brake was under repair so I went to full speed resulting in your ake-it-for-granted-raging-caps. Edited the post though.

Please fix it. Anyways Im not asking for limited-no. of images in posts but in sigs. If you could not do so then please categorize Smilies as other thing rather than images. I am not asking to increase image limit but to categorize smilies as something else.

technically smileys are images linked to certain phrases of letters. Mybb and every other forum do it that way.
Ergo would take a while to change it and I doubt it is worth the effort.

to elaborate my point, whenever mybb is done with it's secret actions you can see it looks like that in html:

HTML-Code: <div id="pid_119233" style="padding: 5px 0 5px 0;"> apparently smilies count as images. that MIGHT be a bug <img src="images/smilies/biggrin2.png" style="vertical-align: middle;" border="0" alt=";D" title=";D" /> </div>

that's bamboori's post (at least the text part). as you see it after he wrote : D (without the space) mybb automatically replaced it with the link to the image.

It is a feature. Not a bug. There is nothing to "fix".
