your entry looks good so i simply guess, that contains no mistakes ;D
i like it more than DesignHeaven, it's more lf2ish

but i think that the girdle should not only stay also move in the animation

looks rather manly to me. Expression could be softer, calves could be thinner

Animation is quite static. As the glow appears, make the cloak flutter or something

it's a good sprite, but fix those it would be better imo

more colour contrasts and accents required, especially on the ice parts. I can't see his facial expression at all o.o

make the hood move some, the arms move a bit, clothing shading move a bit, and have a "focusing energy" expression on her face if you want to make it animated (doesn't look right with just part of the sprite moving).

maybe have the arms start closer to the body then extend out.

course, i'm being a critique on something I can't do well myself

it's not that easy with a gif animation...i am still trying & learning gif on photoshop...
but yes you're right. the cloak is only move....
it would be easier to do it via flash ..would it works making gifs on flash?
