Time for a new Champ?

Instead of discussing who are the best players, who are favorites, and who should be the new champion, it really would be best to throw a tournament only involving the best. Jiquera, Lukas, Azriel, Noir, Sonidow, the works.

Unless you want to take a poll on who's the best and draw names that are on paper and in a severly shaken hat, a tourney really sounds better. I'd watch it, on pay-per-view even. lol

I would like to find out whos the best with the tournaments - whoever gets the godlike rank is good and interested in being the champion.

And only giving Lukas, Azriel, Noir, Sonidow (Jiquera is the creator of the Data Changer ) a chance is unfair in my eyes.

I know that. I'm simply pointing out some of the best. But I am not aware of ALL of them.

they are open for all interested guys. But the fighter registration is a necessary thing for two cases: we need to know all interested guys so we can give them the fighter usergroup and (when plugin is there again) they'll have the tournament box again. Non-interested guys might not want this...

The contact details I request in this thread are for drop out cases. I want to reach them, if I can't ... well, bad for them.

Yea, I think, this tournament-thingy is the best system so far to decide who is the best player at the moment. Everybody has the chance to come up there, the question is: who is that one? If you, Noir, can suggest an effective way of finding the best fighter while maintaining the fun at a relatively high level, feel free to post this

that's a good way to decide the "LFE-Champion"
but not the current best player
For example, what is if someone won the tournament because he always did the most allowed possible damage and the other player not?
So you cannot call him the best coz he didn't fight with his skills but rather his attacks.
But at the moment i don't have a better idea.

EDIT: I prefer a Bandit/Template Tournament so everyone has to win by his basic skills. A tournament with the 10 "Heroes" and all of their attacks is useless coz players like ES, me, CAY, Azriel.... are all on the same technical level. So, who has the better basic skills?

Yea, I'd say people with >50 points should do a little tournament, just use the approved-rank as needed to join. Set some little rules like max. mp usage for example, and start it
I think this will give a pretty good overview on who is the best at the moment, assumed that everybody fights against everybody.
