Whoa man, that is (nearly) awesome!! The idea is actually kinda obvious, but so far you're the first one to do it. (I think.)
But is it just me, or is he "descending" at a wrong speed?
At first he is fast and then gets slower. It might be also just an illusion, it could be possible that he's in fact "descending" at a constant speed, but perspective somehow distorts that perception.
You can slow him down a bit, then give him a little bit more speed in the end of the animation in order to have a right perspective-effect.
Another thought, it would be so totally kickass if there also were some Bandits climbing up the sides of the road.
(I said "descending", because Bandit's actually moving down on y-axis. I assume. I also said it because it sounds cool.)

i have decided to spoiler this feature because i consider it to be of similar weight as the fusion or louisEX

again this is not a new move
but the previous amulet feature, this time activated
so john can unlock the amulets power - which will release a little spirit you saw in the last gif
if the amulet power is unlocked john can call the spirit back in (DJA), which activates the amulets power
the spirit comes out again, deactivating the amulet, if john is either knocked out; defends without performing a move; or presses DJA again
part 3 will be more practical, i promise so if i have made you eager enough already and you can't wait for a release or don't care about spoiling yourself go ahead and view it (possibly just to be disappointed :p again)

maybe i can fix it by editing the positioning a little here and there

Hmm... very interesting.
This is starting to sound to me like a very elaborate and visually attractive way of doing those "Status Buff/Skill Modifier" type of skills.
Those type of skills are EVERYWHERE in alot of chinese mods... but they usually don't really have very nice visual indicators... which made me sad.

My stuff:

1) DO NOT PM ME
2) Go read up on anatomy and proportions online. (google is your best friend)
3) Go read up on pencil sketching-shading.
4) Practice by making FULL character sheets. (Refer to bases and references if you have to, occasionally try doing things from scratch. You have to mix both methods; bases and without.)
5) DO NOT be an arrogant, self-righteous prick when people try to give useful critiques, and ignore the ones who are flaming idiots. (Flaming them back makes you one of them.)
6) Repeat steps 2 to 5 until you're happy, or you think you're good, then start sharing your knowledge with your fellow spriters.
7) Showcase your sprites. At first, do not be discouraged when you don't get any critiques, or lousy/generic critiques. Continue practicing and showcasing your work. With more sprites, it will be clearer what your strengths and weaknesses are, and people may be better able to give you better critique.
Lastly, if you think saying all this makes me an arrogant, self-righteous prick who is too selfish to share his knowledge...
Then I say you cannot recognise wisdom when I've just slapped you in the face with it. (Also, those steps are the same steps I used to get to where I am, I don't know any way else to truly learn.)
Unless you think its worth my time, go F*** yourselves. I'm not going to bother to even reply to PMs like "can you help me make this character?" anymore.

Whoa, somehow that landing animation looks really good.
Well, you could clean up some pixels in that flash kick and maybe edit his hands a bit, so they don't look like they're "touching" something.

btw, can you make dennis dash attack into a move and make it a bit like louis's D>J but fastly to avoid double hit.
