Revamped Sprites (52%)
What the fck. Monolith is banned, why should he take a part in this? He got his ban for a reason.

I'm starting to dislike your proportions of the body. Arms seem way too long (he can easly tuch his knees).
Shading and other effects are great, as usual. I'd eventually complain about his right fist, which looks bad shaped (that maybe caused by position though).

@pf
I already tried to give it a nice energy effect, but it was simply ruining the look of the arm. Will try again to make it look better, or will sprite something barely knew. This one is correct, but not amazing enough.

@Luti - What about revamping original lf2 chars next time?

Edit@V: Disregard real proportions, we are spriting guys with humongous heads. Also, he's bending both his back and his legs. But yeah, I do like to do larger arms, and I do like styles with larger arms like Animal Boxing's:

I really believe I shouldn't be able to without bending my back or legs. That is why i added 'easly'.

the sprite is good, but it doesnt look like the previous one at all.

the colours are not the same and clothes too, i know its called revamping but it should have same colours!!
for a sprite its realy awesome but i dont think its good for the contest, thats what i think.

what shall I improve? Are you talking about the pants? I tried to go for a two colour sheme, but maybe it looks better if I add another, darker colour.
What do you think?

This is hard to explain easly.
I will make a tutorial in few minutes and post it in sprites section.

Ok. First of all - shading 'depth' is probably the hardest thing in shading. For each level of 'depth' I use 1+ levels amount shading colors. This rarely goes above 2 levels, but's not the point..
You have 2 levels of depth, since leg is bended 1 time and it's made of two blocks. Each block is lightened up by the same source of light, but by the different amount of it.
I shade it like this:

As you can see - I used 3 colors:
- Top part is shaded with light (for light) and medium (for dark)
It is on the top, so it's lightened better - it shall be lighter than.

- Bottom part is shaded with medium (for light) and dark (for dark)
The bottom part is not lightened so well. It has to be darker.

BUT!
In your case:

Since top part is covered by his coat and whole body and there isn't so much of light lightening it. So it switches - the bottom part is better lightened.
STILL NOTICE:
Dark shading of bottom part is light shading of top one.
