Marko, its not that I am against you or anything but you showed how in the end should look and I showed progress and result.
Only result is not enough if you want to show things how its done.
And again, I didnt mean to insult you or anything. Just giving a hand for bla bla.
Bla bla, Try to shade hair for your self. Dont look at mine just try to do yours. Everyone result and style is different.

Thank you guys, both of you. I really had no idea of how to shade the hair.
Anyways, i'm back to spriting again. I was pretty busy these days and i just couldn't start spriting. But now i did so here's a new one:

I tried new pants shading. Also the hair sucks again. I gotta practice that.

what the puck are you doing with the hair? same as reff? you dont need o do it, different body shading but hairs stays same?

your hairs should be not like in reff, more like my posted pic, cuz that one is windy effect and yours no.

Yeah i just got a frame from the gif so that's why the hair is like that. Anyhows i tried to make a facepic again:

i would like to add that there is lack of contrast within the color and between the colors . like you could have gone for a black hair and lighter outer garments so its vibrant to the eyes . anyway u used reference for cloths .

It's been some time since i did a sprite. :P
OK so this time i thought of revamping a sprite of mine just to see if/how much i have improved. I chose to revamp Burai:
--> - Burai
I acctually did this sprite in 350/350 which is 4x the size of a LF2 character.
Here's that:


Some things I think I've improved in making:
+ Better pose
+ Better face

Things i do the same:
0 Thin arms
0 Bad hair

Things i did bad:
- Low contrast(It looked OK for the big version :P)
- Slightly fat right leg
