to the pants part: i don't know what rid me on that day when i mad them this way, so no idea
to the eye part: well both eyes are partially getting hid by the hair which hangs over, i actually drew the eyes over the hair and then erased the part where the hair strands go over. So i don't know.

is the overall contrast still lacking?
also i will try to apply hari's suggestion.

Pants have high contrast. Boots have high contrast. Torso dont have high contrast
try to work on the pose.

By fix I mean for future sprites. Fix contrast. Avoid random contrast.
