Character sprite concepts

My primary focus won't be on sprite concepts for this mod, but oh well.. I took a free evening and I made something for Dennis. What do you think? It's just diffirent clothes basically.

I don't think a beard would fit him. Some sideburns would fit, but he already has those (in case you don't know what sideburns are: https://www.google.nl/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&...4358490999)

Some other facial hair styles, such as goatees and moustaches, don't fit anyone except maybe some pervert character/poker player for the moustache, and metalhead/old guy for goattee

For Dennis, perhaps a diffirent haircut, I'd say something slicker, is probably the best option if you want him to look a little bit older. But keep in mind that we shouldn't make too many changes, as he should remain recognisable as Dennis (and we don't want too much spritework on the original characters I guess )

I will make his pants a little lighter by the way. Would fit better with the rest of the sprite.

Btw, you can suggest color scheme for him
He could be a Martial arts fighter.

I like the design of the base character you sprited! I'd go for the first color scheme for this one (the one you picked as well )

I like both, Dennis as well as the werewolf char.
His human form is kinda perfect imo, I'd also go with the colors you chose. The beast form I'm not 100% fond of yet, but its great non the less

So basically, if Rhino agrees on the base character's design too, you can start spriting this character if you want! (alongside the wizard project, or afterwards.. whatever suits you best ) OR we could pass this design on to Gad? (as he volunteered for a clear project, full sprite sheets + you're already working on the wizard.. it's your call Mono)

We just need a name for him and a potential moves list.

I'm not completely satisfied with the hairstyle yet. Mono/Arcane could you give it a shot perhaps? Or should we leave the original hair as it is?

Same here. I think changing his clothes should be enough. I think that even though the hair change is minor, he looks too diffirent if we change everything.

@all: is there anything I should change for Dennis' concept sprite or is this (the sprite with the original hair and entirely new clothes) the final concept that I can start making sprites for?

About hair, how about just make his hair CUT shorter a little? I'll explain a bit more if you couldn't understand.. The point is it will be thrilling for everyone to to look at how all the characters are grown up and have a sense of fashion or something :P
Like the teen Dennis wanted long hair coz he thought it looks cool but as he got a little older, he's like 'fk this..too hard to maintain, I'll go with shorter hair' lol.
You know we all have been very creative with the story and how the characters are going, this is already going to be pretty grand so a little more small things will make it THAT good. (I think)
Hope you get my point and don't think I'm being a little overzealous with the 'changes' on old characters.

The beard looks a fail tho, but I think hair looks good?

HOLY CRAP! Now that he's zoomed out in my screen, he's hard to recognize as Dennis.. hair DOES make a difference eh...
