@ef: Well, technically not a cop role, because he/she/it won't be able to know what role that person has. Only that the person used his/her/its specialty.

This will be an interesting round... everyone will try to pass up as Townie, so I guess we will have to vote randomly in this first day.

Vigilante, don't reveal your role to anyone unless you're going to get lynched for sure (and it that case, do it in this thread).
If you manage to survive and we lynch a townie, I suggest you to shoot someone randomly this night... that's 50% chances of getting a mafia or serial killer (if the Roleblocker doesn't stop you).

I just want to point out how we're like 5 posts in the first day, and everybody's like "NO IDEA BUT IF KIL DIS RADOM GYU & WEN!!!"

So different from the finger pointing and weird psychoanalysis wars of the old game :p It just amuses me greatly.

...but I guess that's what happens when we begin from the day phase.

anyways, I'm pretty sure if we go by "randomly killing somebody" we gotta end up killing an innocent person, so my suggestion would be follwing:

We're 8 players, that means 4 players can vote on person X, and 4 players on person Y, that way we'd have a tie and thus no kill this day... IF somebody breaks the pattern and switches his vote so it'd be a 5-3 and thus kills somebody, then we can be pretty sure that guy is mafia/serial...

And before this starts as a chaos about who would vote for whom... I'll just set it up by taking the player list ariel posted in that exact order and give everybody the name of the top two people to vote for
like this:
TheNave -> Hellblazer
Hellblazer -> Nave
Jernemies -> Hellblazer
Apocalipsis -> Nave
LutiChris -> Hellblazer
Dr. Time -> Nave
Ramond -> Hellblazer
empirefantasy -> Nave

this does not have any wicked system into it, you can check it, it's the regular order ariel posted, and the two guys beeing voted on are the top two of the list including me... if everyone follows this plan then we don't have to kill an innocent person, while on the other hand if somebody actually breaks it, we have a solid clue on who to focus next day


Therfore my vote goes to Hellblazer

Are you sure that's how it works?

So what's your bigger plan, that we skip the lynching everytime? I mean, probably 2 players while die at night, but if we do what you propose, we will still be clueless at Day 2 (no clues out of voting, and we don't have a Cop this time). So you will be against random killing in the next day round too, I guess?
While it's true that mafia can't kill at night, the Serial Killer can, and the Vigilante will still have to choose a random person to kill.

The one who gets the most benefit from what you are proposing to do, is the SK, which can only be killed by a stroke of luck of the Vigilante (1/7 first night).

No I do only suggest this for the first day, because it's almost impossible not to lynch someone innocent in the first day, mafia always "leads the random votings" in some way or another, that's how it is in every mafia game

And the thing is, we don't get any clues from the "random voting" either, because everybody can just act as if it was random... so there's no difference to "not-killing" in the clue aspect. Vigilante will always have to shoot at luck in the first night, I really don't think there's any way to get informations this early except mafia/sk does a HUGE mistake(which I do not expect ot happen)...

so yeah, I prefere 2 possibly dead townies over 3 possibly dead townies at the beginning of day 2

The ones who gets the most benefit of opposing my idea are those that have to kill other people to win aka Mafia and SK

Well usually one would skip Day One lynch to give the Cop one more night to investigate somebody, so there are more clues. Since we don't have any, I'm pretty sure town will NOT benefit by no-killing. At most, we will have 2 more casualties at night, and we will not be any smarter the next day.
