well just look at what he wrote before, he looked so confused wether he was mafia or not, not knowing anything... so I just made things up about how he's mafia but didn't know, because that's just what he wanted to hear apparently...
and you got to admit:

[/quote] this garbage, sounds like I made it up on the spot... if I was the one planning all the fake PM stuff or if I'd had more time to think of an answer it would have probably sounded more believable... but it doesnt, like I said, I just played along with what he said before, trying to for the most logical answer with the informations I was given back then, but ofc I know better now :/

No. What you said there contains some made-up stuff for certain, but I can't dismiss all of it as 'garbage'. What you did was tell the story in reverse; the mafia know they have one other teammate, but they don't know who exactly. What made me think this is Ariel's weird ability of returning 'mafia' when checked even though he's a townie. STM later confirmed that the Spy is usually assigned by the government against the mafia, by how would this Spy get to do his job, and how would this ability come to advantage? It must be that there is a 'lost' mafia you hadn't learnt about, and that the mafia have someone who can check the alignment of players to find him. The spy's ability would come to play when the mafia check him. After they believe our spy is one of them, Ariel would've then started streaming information from the mafia who're thinking he's one of them.

How am I doing so far?

If that's true then ariel should atleast get a note in his role description that he'd apear on mafia list, so he should be able to confirm your theory... if that's not the case you should accept the fact that I just made that stuff up

also, regarding Ariel, he claims to have the passive to apear mafia when checked, but, he might also be mafia himself and made up that passive as an excuse if he happens to be checked, I wouldn't trust him just yet... so far all roles had a kinda usefull and positive effect, he would be the only one whose passive is completly negative for himself... suspicious

Yeah, that's what I thought when he first told me this. But he also did say he works for the civilians in the mafia, but he doesn't know "who they are":
Ariel Wrote:im the Spy
i work for inelegance to the civilians inside the mafia, i don't know who they are but if you check me with your ability i will look like a mafia to you
so same things go for them, if they check me they will think im with them
This fits perfectly for both the 'lost' mafia and the Spy. Either way, lynching you would reveal more on this. We lynch you and not him because there is more against you than him.

Plus, the PM details mfc received seem to comply with all of this. "You're the insomniac, and you're actually a mafia", or rather, THE mafia we've been looking for. It's as if mfc was the mafia's guess when they decided to "check" him by working the fake PM.

Any input from you, @Ariel, regarding this?

Also nave, before you very quickly deleted all those names from the truth list in the betrayal.xlsx, you put tornado in medic row. Any explanations on how you learned he is medic?

Alright, took a moment to have a look at the thread, and hooy boy have I missed a lot of behind the scenes stuff.

One thing that seems so obvious reading between the lines is how shady nave is acting. Nave is usually the one with the plan, the mastermind that figures out names an wins games. Admittedly he has been wrong, but I digress. Point being, this round it looks like he has been heavily baiting for info (saying stuff like "I have info I can't reveal"). Instead of trying to come up with a plan, he has been focusing firmly on denial. You know the usual "welp gj townies we just Lost Gg". What I was curious about was how firmly he was against aman's plan in the beginning. I mean, we can't/couldn't fully trst him, but if he was mafia, figuring him out would have been the easiest thing in the world. If he was citizen, well, Gg ez and stuff. Instead what we now have is this fairly convoluted f***** of a game.

I don't believe this hidden mafia stuff. This sounds so out of the concept of mafia (the game), and also sounds like a pain to balance. So no. I don't believe ramond bothered. If there is a fake PM power, this sounds exactly like the stuff mafia would use it for: to get info.

What I am worried about is that now most info that is gatherable is laid out in this thread. 5 People should be More than enough to figure out the rest. Yes, I know we have a "protection ring" set up, but honestly, of all the stuff I believe, the least of all of them is that winning would be that easy. We have all kinds of abilities spread among 17 People, ranging from checking People all the way to sending fake pms (confirmed?), thus I'm certain there is a counterbalance.

Anyway, just some Quick thoughts from this bus. It's still night-phase, i'll leave some speculating to the Day, on the chance that we learn something plot Twist worthy.

That insomniac message I received should confirm that some mafia can send make don send pm he wants.

The manipulated hb death results show that coroner can edit death results to his wish.

The coroner one is probably comes with a balancer probably, like he cant do it twice in a row or something.
Because once nave told me: "If I die I bet you will see nave the Godfather probably due to coroner"
So he still wants me to see him a miskilled townie even after his death.

@mfc Are you sure its the Coroner that edits the roles? And not any other Role?

seeing as what a coroner does in real life it seems to be the most likely role
