Classic Mafia - Conclusion!
good to see you sticking to your rules, stm.

the question is: did we lose our lynch for this day now?

Honestly at this point, the result would have been the same. If for nothing else, at least we make him shut up. Which is not the way we want to use our lynches, but hey, life.

lying is alright, lying about breaking the rules is stupid. and even though you're a citizen I honestly don't feel bad for having you dead

Just because it is stipid doesnt justify me getting killed. That is all subjective and is up to the players to decide. Having stm get involved only confirmed my suspicion.

no it stated in the rules that breaking them will result in a punishment... getting killed is a punishment

You guys are assuming i actually broke the rules when i didnt. Its not clear that i did but i know for a fact that these were my conclusions and just because i said that i got involved with pms was to make it seem legitimate

I have a right to be upset that my tactic can no longer be used in future games. I dont want to be like you guys. I can follow the rules but that rule is silly and unenforceable. It diametrically opposes my nature.

Go call the police right now and tell them somebody murdered your parents... I mean, you just lied, nobody was actually murdered, there is no way you get into trouble for that, right?

that analogy doesnt work. Calling the police for a crime that wasnt committed is already an enforceable rule. They will lock you up for lieing and wasting the police's time. Even though stm's word is final i do think i should challenge him on this rule. I did nlt actually talk to anyone and the only way he can enforce this would be to kill anyone who is willing to state anything about pming one another. He will not have any evidence against me other than my own words and my own ideas on how i handled this.

The real world one is blantantly clear. Yours however relies on honesty and this can very well be twisted. The only way you can confirm this is by messaging the players about their involvement. And even then some people who dont like me will go against me and say yeah sure i talked because they dont agree with my tactics, ideas, behaviors or just me as a person.

Hm, weird, I can see your online status on skype but none of my messages are getting through =/ #lfe IRC instead? Worst case scenario we'll have to PM each other.

Im fine with the death. I saw the hole in the rule and wanted to see stm's involvement would play out and it did. Since the rule isnt enforceable its practically worthless. I'll shut up now :p

Edit) we spoke already. Should be fine now.
