Make his necks show (or atleast darken it a-bit) it looks like a chin - from my point of view...?
And yeah, I guess it does look somewhat like the guy from "No Country for Old Men"
but I can't remember his name...?
Anyway, a dagger seems to simple too but I guess if you want it-
by all means use it just shade & darken things a-bit...

Size is messed up because photofiltre crashed after i was finished and I could only do a screenshot of a zoomed in sprite <.<



I tried some new things (ok I cant even remember how I did it before, so i guess it must be new :P)

The overall sprite is very good, I like the hair shading. However, there are a few annoying minor issues. First of all, at the border between legs and upper body, his trousers are a bit wider than his shirt. And secondly, the shape of his head looks a bit strange. I can't quite but my finger on the reason, it might be caused by the neck (which is a bit too long).
But as I said, the overall sprite looks pretty good.

The proportions seem kinda messed up. LF2-chars have no visible throat, the head lays almost directly on the torso. Also, you said that it's a zoomed-in version. I guess, it's a 79px high sprite then? Anyways, I won't comment on the actual height :P

Shadows could be, especially on the shirt, a little stronger & sharper. As a suggestion, take an original LF2-sprite and overpaint it, preferably on a new layer, in order to get the proportions right.

Not too bad sprite, tho. Also, I like your new ava

^ nope the legs are fine. maybe the upper body is a bit tall so it make the legs looks like their tall...
