How Groundfire works: press F7 to keep it up!-+Groundfire in stage mode
#1
->
I wondered when groundfire goes to the dissaper-frames, so i checked it--- If you press F7 it burns longer, if you press F all the time in burns as long you do that.

So: Groundfire looses HP while burning!!!

And some important thing for stage-mode:
I always wondered why groundfire don't works in stage-mode if you use id: 211 act: 50.....
solution:

You have to give id: 211 act: 50 some hp!!!

for example: id: 211 act: 50 hp: 500 x: 500 y: 0

actually it is still health
and you mixed it up dome

hit_d: next if hp=0
hit_a: hp to decrease in this frame
most objects start out with 500hp
so if you have a selfrepeating frame with wait:1 and hit_a: 100 it will repeat 5 times till the hit_d gets activated

edit: also this should be covered here http://www.lf-empire.de/content/view/198/173/lang,en/

I had that problem a couple of times....
Create an attack, that'll loop itself for a certain TU-value. Then, in the hit_d, note a frame that'll lead to another loop. From there, after the timer runs out, link it to the first loop again. The timer has already run out the first time, so it'll jump back and forth every TU.
The method to solve that: press F7, it'll renew the timer. Or just opoint a new object.
btw, dunno who it was who already figured out how to use the object's hp.........

edit: ok, never mind, yinyin pretty much said everything :p
