i was thinking of something like that, except since he is a bit more magician, he can shoot doves
i havent got moves planned out yet, but i will try get some more spritin' happenen' before i get too deep into the moves.
also i dont want hundreds of moves, or very complicated moves, just a few simple/original ones.

ok i think i got the proportions down
but just to make sure, i have done 2 versions
they are the same, but with different hand positions. please tell me which is better

EDIT: since i was too sick of waiting for a response, i decided it looked good enough and went and sprited it anyway.
here is the result, if you agree it is the better of the 3 faces posted here, then i will use it. if there is speculation, i will put it to a vote, because i am not gonna do anymore face pics now.

face seems awkward but hey i like it,i would like it a lot if there was some room to make his clothes but very good and hey you are a very good spriter.

In the "face" picture, the whole character should be casting a slightly visible shadow around him.
Other than that, the hat looks pretty big.

definitly the last one. But as lauli said, hes hat does look pretty big ^^ (in proportion of the sprites )

The hand thingy improved a bit, but it's still not perfect I must say . It still a bit weird that he folds his hand like that. Pherhaps moving his arm a bit more to the left, so that his hand doesn't need to fold that hard. (But that's just my opinion.)

But I like it a very very very... lot!

There are three things I don't like about the face-pic. Technically 2.5, because the third is just a 10-secs-deal :P

1. The hat goes like this: \_/. Should actually go more like this: |_|. It is too wide on the top.
   
2. The outlines look quite edge. You used the line tool for that, didn't you? :P
   
3. (Repeating Lauli) A slight shadow needs to be added. Just merge down all the face layers (better: make copies of the layers and merge those), make an outer glow (color: #000000, blending: normal) and that's it.

2. line tool? no i used just brush tool, maybe i should use a smaller brush :P

also, i like the hand how it it, so i wont be fixing that to soon
