Version 1.00
Many know the famous mage John, master of the pure magic and capable of using powerful healing spells. Only a few know, that he has a brother: Jamel Born one year after his older brother, Jamel was damned to never get the same attention as him. He were never able to reach the same magic abilitys as John, his own forces were to weak. But after a serious clash between both brothers, Jamel, who had lost the mage duell, of course, decided he had to do something. He left his home, travelled far through the little-world and somewhen he discovered an ancient ruin. After entering it, he found a secret scroll, telling the powerful and mystic secrets of the elemental magic.
Now, two years of studies and hard work later, Jamel came back to prove his parents and the rest of the world, that he got far stronger then his brother ever will...
Hehehe, me is back ^^ And this time with a combination of Cleric-like many moves and Sharn-like new sprites :P
Jamel is a recolored John with a (at least kinda) complete new fighting system:
Instead simply doing moves, he summons
which fight for him.
But even more, he uses them as "fuel" for his really powerful spells.
So you don't need mp for a hyper-finishing-move, but elementals, which you have to summon first with mp.
Sounds complicated, huh? ^^
Jamel isn't as easy and simple as the most chars, but exspecially his wide field of abilitys makes him much fun to play.
If you want to know more about this char read this short part of the Readme or directly download him and read the complete Readme ^^
3.2.1 BASIC SUMMON
As noted above, pressing A won't make Jamel punching or otherway attacking his enemy.
Instead it will make Jamel using one of his basic abilitys: Elemental Summoning!
With many basic moves like attacking (A , Fire/Water), Double-Jumps (Press D while mid-air, Wind) or
defending (D + ... , Earth) Jamel will automatically summon elemental allies (further discription at 3.4).
This nice guys are using only theire own kind of element for attacking and performing moves and can be useful for either attacking or annoying the enemy. On the other hand, they usually disappear after only one hit...
In game you will need to use this ability mainly. Summoning some elementals will often give you the time to evade from melee or to prepare a spell as counter-attack. Also, you can use elementals as personal shield or for other purposes.
3.3 SPELLCASTING
Spellcasting is the major ability of Jamel to deal real damage to opponents (or to cause other useful effects).
To use a spell you will have to press DJA (75 mp) to activate the Spell Mode. Then you can enter a key combination to unleash the true power of your Elemental Magic.
Note, that you won't need mp to use spells (besides the first 75 one), but instead your spells will "consume" elementals.
In bad situation casting a spell can take you all your allies, in the worst you won't even have enough elementals and nothing will happen (besides your elementals disappearing).
If you have "stored" elementals in your armor, they will mostly be used first for a spell. After using up your armor storage, the spell will search elementals on other places. Note, that only not-actioning (standing, walking, running) elementals will be used for spells, not the actually fighting ones.

I can tell it's very nice char.
Good work! Only need to add some thunder attacks (like mine 4elementum, search for it if You want see him).

OT:
Yup... he is working on a overpowered, not recoloured Hunter-Version named Ivan.. about 50% of his moves are bombs of different size that mostly are overkills XD

that was just small criticism k? You might want to have a look at this thing because data-wise I think he's pretty creative. Bitching about sprites like this is a token of idiocy, you didn't even have to decency to go test it out before whining.
and ps the bandit with 4 forms is BanMe by MSSJSG.
Also to the character itself: confusing as hell to use, still not quite sure what you mean with the spellcasting section, but I really did like some of the moves. The whole elemental thing gets pretty busy pretty fast.

Yes, it was a criticism, but honestly (no offend) one of the most useless i've ever heard...
(No joke That guy is trying to tell me, that i should make own sprites whereas i already made my best and ALWAYS say EVERYWHERE that i'm bad in spriting... and then he talks about modded chars without good DC are boring, using same for my char without even knowing anything about the DC... whatever )

But the thing is simple if you got it:
Your moves use mp and summon elementals.
If you make a spell via DJA+??? it consumes the elementals ^^

Hmmm... then either you did something wrong or something with your LF2 was wrong...
The installation instructions in the Readme are pretty easy, even for people without DC knoweledge and i always test my char's installations before uploading them...

Awww, i know the problem already i guess...
If you have a to big data.txt (to many file entries) LF2 cannot handle it...
Therefore you cannot install all mod at the same time ^^ And since Trio Mortale were 10 characters with some more move files... Combined with another mod that can quickly brake LF2's limit ^^

@Char Display
Since I'm at school at the moment, this post is subject to change. However, I would like to somewhat advise against your current way of "displaying" or posting up about your character, just on a couple of points (if that's ok with you, that is).
1. Please explain exactly how the character works. I don't believe it is necessary to include a "half-readme" as a teaser, or include a teaser in your post at all . Just put your readme on the introductory post. I'm pretty sure that it you would gain more downloads that way, because almost everybody on LFE is lazy , and they want to know exactly what (in terms of content and quality) they're about to load on their hard drives before actually doing it (especially since they have to do the additional work of copy+pasting the data lines onto 'data.txt' and what-not to start playing ). I'm pretty sure that even you feel the same way about other released characters .
2) Regarding to the logos...they're a bit too big and detailed to serve a logo . Now if you call them promotional posters, that's a different story . But for logo, the picture should be simpler, and include less... objects .
That's about it for now. Will update post after testing this character once I get home.
Oh, and about the Character separation and parts. You do know that you can simply wrap all the files up into one archive, and then choose the 'split' option on WINRAR to separate it into smaller files automatically .
*Wooh* I had time to test the character!

Jamel Test:
First off, I would like to say that I'm probably one of the only persons who actually tested this character really thoroughly, and the more I play with him, the more impressed I am! This is by far your greatest work yet! Best creativity I've ever seen (man, I've gotta take a peek at that DC coding)! Even I can't think of something like this (and I'm pretty damn big dreamer )! *Whew* You deserve a big @$$-pat on the back!
Good Stuff I Noted:
1) The entire concept of elemental summoning and what-not (it's like a fuse of Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic the Gathering, and Little Fighter 2 )
2) The huge @$$-variety of moves!
3) The huge @$$-amount of advanced DC.
4) Your effort. Despite all the other comments, I know it was hella hard coding all of this, and implementing this seeming pipe dream into an actual character!
Note that this is the 4th creation I've tested of yours , so I can actually physically see your improvement .
Ok, now to move onto the only few criticisms I can find.....
1) Confusing Readme: It's a lot better if you post all the detailed, story-related instructions/description in your introductory post (as I've said above) . The readme is for instructions, disclaimer, and contact info only. Include only the practical information (aka just simple knowledge on how to use the character, and leave all the other stuff out), especiallyfor an advanced/complicated character like Jamel . This criticism is not really about the character, but how you present it, so please don't take this as an insult .
2) Elemental Bugs/Glitches: I know that this is may be known bug/glitch, and that probably there is no possible DC solution to solve it, but the part where all the elementals simply *disappear*, or gets used, and nothing comes out (because not the full amount is consumed, even though they are all present) is extremely annoying, and can really take away the game experience (possibly even under-powering the character ). Basically, all that happens is that Jamel wastes a ton of mana creating the elementals, and nothing happens . You should try your best to fix the bug, even though it may not even be possible to fix it .
Overall, if I were a teacher , I'd give you 98%. Damn good work!
At everyone else. If you are going to download a character created by Alblaka, you MUST download Jamel first and foremost period. End of discussion.
