You should remove the bandit line then. By leaving the bandit line in there, the game tries to read both. Which is impossible.

i re-added it while i was testing other id but it has previously removed (even deleted at one point)

Ps version 2.a will always used the first in the data.text when opointed i regulary shared ID with up to 5 character for the AI of course and random selection still works and the games has rarely crash.

Edit: removed the error

Why is Tao_ball.dat used for 3 different Id's? What's the point.

to give it different type for stage mode (dao is a boss in yin yin Boss LF) i don't believe i need them (tao don't opoint them) but kept them anyway

i only wish Yin Yin (the auther of tao and data changing legend) posted on the furom more often then i would ask him what the problem is

as you can see its not impossible - and previous versions worked like that already

they act as different object types - didnt want to create so many files for that when it all fits into one

apparently tao gets stuck in the dasher frame when spawned in stage mode
    DC-Code:
<frame> 216 dasher
   pic: 21 state: 100 wait: 20 next: 999 dvx: 0 dvy: 0 centerx: 22 centery: 75 hit_a: 0 hit_d: 0 hit_j: 0
  sound: data\017.wav
   bdy:
      kind: 0 x: 5 y: 12 w: 38 h: 65
   bdy_end:
 wpoint:
 kind: 1 x: 0 y: 0 weaponact: 0
 wpoint_end:
<frame_end>
this change should fix the problem

it will take him a bit longer than bandit to appear - you can try to reduce the wait: 20 but if its too low the continuous dash wont work anymore
