No offence, the hat looks a bit 2D to me.
Do you mind if I give it a try making a face pic/woody edit or whatever? Even if you don't want to use it, you'd get a general idea of what to do.

Sorry, didn't have enough time to edit one properly, so I hand drew a rough copy. The pen was a bit thick so excuse how terrible it is. However, here goes:

- One huge eye
- couple of teeth missing
- same style coat as Woody
- i forgot to do hair sorry.
- thickish eyebrows - adds more humour to the face

Yeah, lowering the resolution seemed to help... A LOT. Plus, I made it duotone first.
