I was thinking that the 79x79 restriction does not work well with this theme. It really narrows down the options as alot of predatory animals(which would likely be the popular choice), would likely have to be larger(in relation to the human sprites) to be intimidating(Like bears, or lions, etc.)

Unless you were specifically hoping for entrants to be more of the "background wildlife" type of animals like birds and little squirrels and stuff.
(but actually this limitation kinda is forcing me to think of something more interesting, like how to make a small furry animal be frightening, I'll probably think more on that for awhile.)

Lol. It'd wouldn't scale well. I'd have to redraw it in high resolution to be useful as material for a wallpaper.

i'll be taking part, but set a deadline anyway alec. If I don't do it in time then meh, it won't get entered lol.

This is actually a single sprite from THE SWARM (>>> mutated insect swarm) of my kindafinishedbutnotreleasedduetobadreviews LF2-Gamma.

I don't really think i will get more then 1 vote (won't vote myself, though ^^') but now i can at least be proud to have participated in a sprite contest
