OMG the char's too high. Try to reduce his height. He seems to be awkward then.
Well, there's nothing more to complain. The effect's pretty shiny on the char so it's fine.
Keep this up and you'll be a great spriter someday!

ok could you guys please stop this "9" crap??! cuz its starting to get on my nerves...
ontopic: lets see... the sprite is too hight as tania mentioned... although i really like how you did the lighting effect on the sprite, try to make the flame move more cuz it barely moves. now it just looks like a peace of orange plastic stuck on that staff...

It's a cool concept, and I do hope it turns out good.
However, there's one thing I noticed. During your walking frames, the coat/robe does not actually move when the legs do. Not at all, in fact. If you've ever tried to wear a long coat or jacket you'll notice that it flaps back and forth, and isn't really still.
To illustrate it further (or if you want a study-example but haven't got a wizard's robe or a long coat) you take a pair of trousers and hold them just in front of your legs and watch how they behave when you walk (Note: works best with softer trousers, and not jeans).
I HOPE that's understandable, anyway.
