Not quite what I was getting at
But if the Xbox controller was as sensitive as the wii motion sensor plus then mimicking the tilting of the 3DS to create the Pseudo3D effect in games wouldn't be as difficult than if it wasn't as sensitive

eherm dude, tilting a controller to make the screen move, wouldn't in any way look like some pseudo 3D stuff, this effect does only show up if you tilt the screen itselfe, and in the x-box case you'd need to tilt your TV which is pretty useless

about Microsoft's E3 Conference, they said something about using the player as a controller? Kinetic, or something using all this motion sensor. I think it's going to fail from the looks of it, the player as a controller, really? How do you pause, there are way too many possibilities that are really going to complicate things. I believe it's going to fail

Yes, it was project Natal. A small camera copying your moves, or something like that.

There was also that xbox thing where you don't need a controller. Still a prototype, I'm afraid :(

but ive got something to say! :D

ive had the chance to try one a week ago or so
and it works perfectly well
the slider does what it needs to:
slide it up for uber deep 3d effect
slide it down for classic 2d
my optimum (relaxed eyes) was a little below the middle

this works really well for any 3d graphics
however photos and films are either full 3d or flat 2d because obviously the distance between the two cameras at the time the photo/film was takes is set

my girlfriend had trouble with the 3d effect - i didnt have any problem
but i can imagine getting eye strain/headaches if you play for too long
although this applies to any other video game too - one has to get used to it
also thats what the slider is for isnt it


just too damn expensive and probably time consuming for me right now ...

Well it seems that the 3DS is not selling as well as big N would like, mostly because of the lack of quality games in its lineup (for now), and its ridiculous price.
Hiding users' signatures and avatars was the best decision ever.
