possible... but either very complicated or very boring...

complicated way: catch the char. the char has a cpoint kind: 2 in the first frame. im sure you know what that is... anyway hes being held in the breathing frames and his bottom body is concealed by the animal. because the first frames have state: 0, he can still go to walking frames. when he does, an ik3 catches him (special bdy) and brings the animal to a walking frame. when > stops being held, another special bdy makes the animal go to standing frame. punching makes animal attack so on.

im not sure if this works... but it should...

easy boring way: make an animal for all the chars. wastes data space and gotta do lotsa work though -.-

Could you post the sprite of the grass, please?
The new savanna looks awesome. But the weird grass somehow destroys alot.
The sprite itself looks not really good with the dark pixels. And why doesn't the grass cover the whole area? There's a free area at the bottom (?) of the bg.

Those almost-black lines JUST BELOW every grass' sprites. They look annoying.
Try to make the grass more "attached" to the bg. They look like they're floating on the bg.

the grass is spawned randomly but i might come to a solution how it'd be more un-random

edit:
here is the grass sprite, or actually a small part of it

Okay, the easiest way to solve the problem would be to take the magic-wand-tool set the tolerance a bit up, select the black area & delete.
Doesn't look too bad, but maybe then you could still lighten the pixels, that are still dark.

[Image: grassprite.png] ← Original
[Image: grassprite1.png] ← Filled with colour
[Image: grassprite2.png] ← add'd original sprite with some funky opacity filters
[Image: grassprite3.png] ← used paint and scribbled a bit around. Doesn't look good, haha.

I hope you understand how I made it. Selected the black areas with higher tolerance, inverted the mask, copied the layer, filled it with light-brown, then used the original layer with opacity features (don't know how to call it. It's making the black pixels invisible, and the white ones visible, everything in between varies) and copied over the "filled" layer.

This post is full of understandable'ness.
