Hiding characters
#1
Well is it possible to hide characters, using the exe instead of the data file? i mean, like there is the background lee road or something, is it possible to add a character to the game which will be hidden in the exe?

Wrong. Read the whole post.
That is preventing chars from the selection screen.
What wants is having chars inside the exe just like Lee on Road.

I gues that is what that dumb Molebox program does or am I wrong.
Yes I hate Molebox. Triggers some antivirus defences making the user unable to play the mod.
Age ratings for movies and games (and similar) have never been a good idea.
One can learn a lot from reinventing wheels.
An unsound argument is not the same as an invalid one.
volatile in C++ does not mean thread-safe.
Do not make APIs unnecessarily asynchronous.
Make C++ operator > again
Trump is an idiot.

Molebox is certainly the solution (you want something like NTSD right???). However you will may need to make the EXE read from 2 data.txts if you want the player to be able to add more characters (So one data.txt inside the moleboxed EXE for the characters that the EXE MUST load and one data.txt outside the moleboxed EXE as a local file that the moleboxed EXE reads from as well). That's exactly like NTSD.
For the hex you can probably ask TheNave (or other creators of NTSD). But I doubt any of them will give you help.
Hiding users' signatures and avatars was the best decision ever.

This trick allows you to change template to characters like Firzen, Julian, Bat, and even Knight. Create a new folder in the "Data" folder. Then, copy the original "template.dat" file in the folder. Next, copy another data for the desired character (for example, "julian.dat") and rename it to ":template.dat". After you have do so, you will have two Julian datas. You can do this as many times as desired to change into the different characters.
